I’m sorry I missed this. Vivid memories of the Mark Clark. Fred Hamton murders and Panthers hawking the paper at the May Day 1971 demo in DC.

These represent something to you. What is it?
To me, they show that some unseen entity chose to end the life of another. When observing these, I feel sadness because my need for safety is not met. My empathy is not just based on my skin but also my humanity.
The depiction here is the loss of ‘our shared needs – Safety, Love, & Joy’.
