LGBT:  Many variants exist including variations that merely change the order of the letters; LGBT or GLBT are the most common terms and the ones most frequently seen in current usage. Although identical in meaning, “LGBT” may have a more feminist connotation than “GLBT” as it places the “L” (for “lesbian”) first. (Wikipedia)

MISSION STATEMENT:

Destinations is an all-inclusive social group in the Inland Northwest encouraging interaction, mutual understanding and friendship between all sexual orientations and gender identities. We provide social settings and activities for people from diverse points of view to network, form bonds and create alliances.

VISION STATEMENT:
Destinations envisions a community-wide dissolution of stereotypes and judgments.

VALUES STATEMENT:
In order to provide our community a welcoming and safe environment for social interaction, Destinations promotes education and enlightenment of our diverse population regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, age, physical attributes, religion, state of health, race, ethnicity, political affiliation, physical and mental ableness or socio-economic status.

PRIDE CENTER MISSION

The EWU Pride Center is dedicated to providing a safe and accepting environment for EWU’s LGBTQQA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and ally) students, faculty and staff. The goals of the center are to promote a campus wide culture of inclusion and respect for diversity through education, outreach and collaboration, and to provide students at EWU with a positive and successful academic experience.
